Our guidelines for submitting articles are based on the New York Times code of ethics. Generally, here’s what we require:
All submissions are considered for readability, accuracy, and relevance to the GovReport audience.
Please do not submit marketing content, such as product promotions, etc.
If your article mentions a product or brand it will likely be rejected. Articles that make a case for a product or brand without mentioning its name brand may be accepted.
Articles must be original content written by the author.
Articles might include:
- Thought leadership
- Industry trends
- Specialized insight from subject matter experts
- Arguments for policy changes
- Industry best practices
- Well researched and accurate information to educate our readers
- Industry news
Word Count: No strict requirements, 500 to 600 words is a good length.
We reserve the right to edit for length and clarity if needed.
