Gov. Gavin Newsom has appointed California Health and Human Services (CalHHS) Agency Information Officer Adam Dondro as Director of the Office of Systems Integration (OSI), according to a press release.

Dondro has been with CalHHS since 2017, where he served as Agency Chief Information Officer for nearly five years. Prior to joining CalHHS, he served as Assistant Director of Horizontal Integration at the California Department of Social Services from 2013 to 2017, Assistant Secretary for External Affairs at the California Department of Technology from 2010 to 2013, and Budget Committee Consultant and Legislative Aide at the California State Assembly from 2005 to 2010.

Dondro will replace outgoing OSI director Dan Kalamaras, who was appointed by Gov. Newsom in 2018.

“OSI will be the trusted leader in the management and delivery of large, complex technology projects, enabling improved service delivery to the people of California,” says the office’s website.
